Coronavirus

Throughout the world, people are preparing for and secluding themselves from the pandemic

known as the Coronavirus.

Festivities are being canceled, travel is drastically limited, and workplaces are finding new ways to isolate their employees from this disease, this potential mass murderer.

And yet...

Television is getting trashier.

Many parents aren’t taking responsibility for raising their children in the gender God created them.

Homosexuality, bi-sexuality, and gender-neutral sexuality is being accepted as culturally progressive.

Sex before marriage seems to be the least of one’s worries – unless a person is abstaining, in which case they are ridiculed.

Churches cater to the needs of the congregation rather than the congregation embracing the the Word of God as inerrant and eternally relevant.

The list goes on...

The coronavirus can take lives.

Turning from God can take souls.

Never knowing Christ as Lord and Savior can destroy both the body and the soul.

And yet many in the Christian community in America is silent about the spiritual pandemic that is incurring the wrath of God.

Individually and in community, few are rushing to action to mitigate the virus of evil pervading our society and the world.

Perhaps it is time to see the spiritual condition of our souls with the same intensity that we are confronting the Coronavirus.

Guard your hearts and consider the eternal ramifications of being infected by the virus that destroys the soul.
